Agenda and other matters

About a month and a half out, I've turned in all the necessary paperwork and paid all of my initial deposits. Next item on the agenda is to purchase my airfare.

Pertaining to other matters:

Stellenbosch: I have been given the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with Stellenbosch University in South Africa. This university is one of the top 500 research universities in the world ( . . . 450, but still) and I would take my research that I began at the Sagamore Institute over there and work with both them and the University of Indianapolis. There are many more details which I am purposely excluding; nevertheless, the opportunity at hand presents an enormous set of possibilities (incredible resumé builder) and difficulties. I realize I am going to Greece and this should be a more pressing matter, which it is, but the deadline for the fall semester at Stellenbosch is in September. I would be gone for 6 months. All of this being said, I would go. Except for one thing.

Mo's: Rachel and I went to Mo's yesterday and as far as delicious Southwest/Mexi places go this one is mediocre. Not amazing, not horrible. I got some taco that cost me 3 bucks. 1 taco = $3. I can get a burrito the size of a cat at Chipotle for $5. -1 for cost. On the other hand they had a Salsa bar, which I enjoyed despite one of the options was literally the same, generic salsa one gets out of the can. BUT of course food for food sake borders on sin. What actually matters is who you spend a meal with. I had the privilege of eating with both Rachel and her sister Kelly. This is more than I can say for most of my lunches; since I am so busy, I tend to eat a fast food lunch alone in my car--not plugging for sympathy. Eating during the week is just a chore on a long list of to do's and must be done quickly. That being said, lunch with people who mean a great deal to me coupled with mediocre Southwestern food, I'll give Mo's + 5346582934561643.
